 The Word of God is called a SWORD because it has piercing ability 

 The Word of God is a mirror- We see ourselves  - We are not just hearers but doers also 

to become like God wants us to be 

The Bible is a hammer- 

Jeremiah says the Word of God is a hammer that breaks the rocks in pieces 

The word of God is water that cleansing us 

 It has a refreshing cleansing in our life

God's Word is like seed that plants in our lives 

Word of God Grows in our life  

Spiritual Life Growth

Word of God is like Fire because it purifies 

Word of God is the Lamp of our life  

It shines its light of where we are now and where we ought to go

The Word of God is Profitable  for  my growth 

Sin will keep me from the Word Of God 

The word of God will keep me from sin 

 I will become stagnant with my spiritual Walk with the Lord 

We live in a toxin world - our culture wears away of what we hold dear 

How do I deal with  ? take the word of God  

replace everything I see in the world with God's word  

provide cleansing from your life 

Psalm 100 

God's Word will protect you from satan

just  because you do not believe Him does not mean he is not there   

he tries to keep you from being effectiveness from God 

how do we go to war with satan ? 

 Jesus used  scripture  ( all might word ) against satan 

He told satan to flee 

all christians should use the word of God 

Look at Deuteronomy  

good stuff to use against the enemy

The sword of the Spirit  

if we are getting victimized 

Let Gods word filter into your heart 

it will protect your from discouragement  

it will help you lay aside every besetting sin

The word of God is the greatest thing you can appeal to while in discouragement 

Discouragement is always worst when you start walking away from the cross 

 when you get discouragement you don't need to go around someone to help you get more discourage because they are discouraged too
